To quote Brad Paisley’s song “Celebrity”: “'Cause when you're a celebrity, it's adios reality.
You can act just like a fool; People think you're cool just 'cause you're on TV.”  

What about the true celebrities, the heroes of our time?
The men and women who everyday put their lives on the line.

Why bother with the truth?
The truth isn’t cool.

Wreck a car, go to rehab, and fall from grace.

If you’re straight get a divorce after 72 days,

But you can’t get married at all if you’re gay.  

Biggest question in your life: “Who’re you wearing?”

Never mind those who’re wearing Kevlar and a uniform.

Never mind those who’re wearing clothes from the local shelter.

It’s all about those 15 minutes of fame.

You strive to be on the A-list or at least the D-list as long as you’re known as a celebrity.

If you’re famous even when you die, you’ll live forever.

Got news for you, your fifteen minutes are over.

Some of you may be remembered; most of you will be forgotten.

Just ask those who serve and protect they die every day. Who will remember their sacrifice?
