September 11th

There are walls that stands in tribute to all who died on that September Day

They grab at your soul and tugs at your heart
As you  . . .

Read the name of moms, dads, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers
Imagine their faces and feel the pain of their family and friends still trying to be strong.

As you see the names of those true heroes who . . .
Took over a hijacked flight.
Ran into burning buildings while everyone else was running away.
Continue to fight to bring those responsible into the light.
Have paid the ultimate price.

These walls tell our heroes . . .
"We will Never forget."

Earth and Faith

“That’s me on the branch of that tree, you with your feet on the ground. You can feel the earth for all she’s worth, I can see for miles around.” ~BROTHER

Come with me and worship at the altar of my tree.
Feel the breeze through the leaves and feel God’s breath upon thee.
Wander the earth and wander in the footsteps of Jesus.

Those times when you feel as though you can no longer stay afloat,
Jesus is with you even then; do not lose faith and do not lose hope.
Walk in the churchyard and walk with your ancestors.
Walk in the spirit of the Living God and know things will get better.

“Oh I wonder if a long time ago, Somewhere in the universe, They watched a man named Adam
Walk upon the earth.” ~John Stewart (folk singer 1939-2008)
